Store Trades

Basic Policies

All trades must be authorized by Drew inside of the store. Trade rates shown are a baseline exchange rate. Rates you are offered may differ. Accepting trades is the discretion of Drew. Drew may choose to not trade with you for any reason, but he will try to explain his reasoning why. Anime Kat reserve the right to modify these policies at any time without notice.

For cash trades, customers must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid, free, membership form with Anime Kat on file (including ID).

For credit trades, customers must be over the age of 12. If you do not use all of your credit on the day it's generated, your balance is kept on your membership account. Store credit can't be cashed out for money.

For video game, hardware, and accessory trades, please:

Make sure to bring all of the items you want to trade with you to the store

Delete any sensitive or personal images, stored data and/or cached data

Charge any device(s) you are bringing in for trade

Remove any memory cards or other items not originally part of the product

Bring any cords, power chargers and related accessories for products you are trading

Credit - 25% cover price, Cash - $1 per book

Anime

Credit - 1/4 Amazon.com's used price, Cash - 15% Amazon.com's used price

Magic: the Gathering

+25% for bulk cards sorted by set and then rarity if there are more than 100 cards

Single rares >$1: Credit - 50% local area value, Cash - 25% local area value

800 count bulk rares/mythic (≤$1): Credit - $80, Cash - $40

800 count bulk common/uncommon: Credit - $10, Cash - $5

800 count bulk land: Credit - $5, Cash - $2 cash (organize by color to receive sorting bonus)

Pokemon

+25% for bulk cards sorted by set and then rarity if there are more than 100 cards

Single rares >$1: Credit - 30% local area value, Cash - 20% local area value

800 count bulk common/uncommon: Credit - $20, Cash - $10 cash

800 energy: Credit - $10, Cash - $5 (organize by type to receive sorting bonus)

Yu-Gi-Oh!

+25% for bulk cards sorted by set and then rarity if there are more than 100 cards

Single rares >$1: Credit - 20% local area value, Cash - 10% local area value

800 count bulk (≤$1): Credit - $10, Cash - $5

Video Games, Handhelds, and Console
*We will not take DRM-protected products*

Credit - 50% local area value, Cash - 25% local area value

*Exception: Most sports games are a flat $1 credit or $0.50 cash. This includes yearly releases of Madden, NHL, FIFA, NBA Live, etc.*
